First iPhone and Not My Last

As the title states, this was my first iPhone. After seeing my girlfriend get an iPhone 3 I became infatuated. I ended up getting one when my contract was up about a year after drooling over it. It was a great phone (I recently upgraded to the iPhone 5) and I would purchase it again if it weren't for the iPhone 5. The amount of features it unlocked after coming from a non-smart phone is incredible. The abundance of apps is great and the quality of the phone overall is superb.The battery life blew all my other phones out of the water. The picture is crystal clear and the sound that comes out of the phone isn't bad. It's better than my other phones (Samsung Glyde, Samsung Reality) but it's certainly not great. Call reception is great on Verizon, I've never had a dropped call and I get service where a lot of other cell users do not.My only qualms is that it doesn't support 4G and not all apps on the app store free or that great, but this is not the fault of the phone.Now that the iPhone 5 is out the iPhone 4 seems more reasonably priced and remains almost as great as the 5. The iPhone 5 is WAY overpriced and doesn't do much more than the 4. So overall, the 4 is a great phone and I would recommend it to anybody.

So Far, at Least it Works...

Not very happy with the outward condition of the phone. The original home button was not intact and had been replaced with a off-white, outward concaved button. It looks and feels horribly ugly on a black iPhone and it requires the user to depress rather hard in order to function. I expected the phone to at least be clean considering the $250 I paid for it. The outside of the phone was extremely dirty (I had to wipe in down with a disinfectant cloth) and the speakers and charging port were clogged with dirt. The charging cable looked as if a rat chewed on the wire, so the cable is usless to me due to electrical shock risk. The phone does work as far as doing what it suppose to do though. I expected better considering what it cost. I won't be purchasing from this seller anymore.

Great Phone!

I bought my sister an iPhone 4 for Christmas but the guy we got it from scammed us, the phone wasn't activate-able. So my dad and I came on here and ordered one. I, along with my sister, am VERY pleased with the condition of this phone. I'm also surprised that it came in only FOUR days after purchasing. I highly recommend buying from this seller. I will definitely buy from them again in the future. (:

superior amazon service.

I had read all the negative reviews for this phone but the good ones out weighed the bad so I decided to give it a go. The unit I was sent was defective out of the box and I remembered all the people advising against it. I contacted amazon and they immediately sent out a new phone and gave me a ups label to return the defective one @ no extra cost. The second phone has been working perfectly and amazon's superior customer service took some of the sting off of getting a non working unit the first time. On an additional note, all those warnings of poor battery life, I've gotten the battery so far to go 36 to 40 hours btwn charges. over all it has been worth the price, just be sure to buy from amazon directly as you will then have the their guaranty backing you up.

I always thought that iPhone is top of the game - I mean, Apple products usually are, right?Well, I was looking for a gift for my wife's birthday and I really didn't like price of unlocked iPhone. I'm not US citizen so I can't get it through contract, so my only option was to buy it for full price and lets be honest - it's greatly exaggerated. So, I opted to instead switch to Android phone. Woooooooooow! Hello thar! :)It took me awhile to choose which phone to buy and in the end, Inspire won with it's easily affordable price. Seriously, you can buy 2 of these for a price of 1 iPhone! And that is actually what I did - I bought one, used it for a week and went back to Amazon to order another one for my wife as the 1st one is staying with me.Lets be honest, though - phone is not perfect. Yeah, battery could be stronger (get yourself 1600 mAh or stronger one for roughly $10), software could be slightly more polished but in all honesty, this is a 5 star phone.PROs:* HUGE screen! And with high resolution, wow!* Easy to customize (software and hardware [i.e. stronger battery]). Take that, iPhone!* PRICE! Did I mention that you can buy 2 of these for the price of 1 iPhone? Seriously? Steve, you've been awesome guy, may you rest in peace, but your products have been greatly overpriced.* 8 MP camera! (not the best quality but surprisingly good)CONs:* Software could be slightly better. It does have some weird stuff going on, but nothing to tarnish this phone's great rep.* BIG! Seriously, forget about carrying it in your pocket. This is mini tablet, I kid you not. I still love it. :)For me, this is easy decision - this phone trumps anything else in the market when it comes to price/specs ratio. Yeah I know, everybody wants iPhone 4s, Samsung Galaxy S2 etc, but seriously, they can't really offer you much more considering huge price gap between them and this phone.I know I bought 2 for reason. THe Phones Works Excelent, great speed, the cam get really great quality... Android + HTC sense is a nice interface... The only issue with the phone is the battery Life, but if you have a car charger and USB cable with you in the office you dont need to worry about it.... if ATT release the gingerbread update will be perfect!

PHONE is very futuristic in presence. It will capture everyone's attention. Looks like a heart monitor on your wrist. Lol. Literally. WiFi capable works well. Bluetooth capabilities. Speaker on voice calls sounds low but with headset sounds well. MP3 / MP4 sounds loud & clear. Apps that dont exceed o.s 2.2 work well. Pandora,YouTube,Google maps, voice search , voice commands. Games work but screen is smaller than most phones plus on your wrist makes it uncomfortable. Video chats don't work even though there's a camera/camcorder built-in & even if , the eye is placed,sideways instead of in the top center of the screen as it should have. Battery life is about 8-10 hours on sleep mode and 4-6 hours while using but depends on what your using it for as internet takes most power and text and calls take the least. I almost forgot, the charger is short and its male to female usb. It charges within 30 minutes. 8 gb micro sd with adapter. If you have chubby fingers, I recommend a thin stylus. I'm still testing the capabilities, so far shows promise. I highly recommend it for techies, however , for other consumers id say wait till they perfect the smart watch. If your a consumer that only needs it to check your fb, Twitter and other social networks and talk, text and listen to music ? Then buy this. Buy it and you wont regret it. And yes , you get email too. ;)

I have 5 other Phone Watches and this one is by far the best of them in most aspects.1. Phone quality: I tried to use the included bluetooth headset and the sound quality on the other end of the conversation is poor. The speaker phone is real soft and makes a static/hissing sound when you hit the speakerphone button on the phone. So, if you are in a loud area you might be out of luck unless you find a headset with better sound quality.2. Camera: I have 5 other watch phones and this watch has a killer Video/Camera compares to the other on the market. I am a big video recording person and love that this thing takes great Videos and pictures. So, they don't compare to my Galaxy S III's pictures or videos. The video is smooth and I assume it shoots at 30FPS.3. WIFI: The WIFI doesn't always seem to work and I am not sure why. I can get the WIFI to work at work but not at home... your experience may vary.4. SIM Card: This SVP Z1 adnroid watch uses a standard SIM card and only has one SIM card slot. I use T-Mobile and I ended up going to a monthly plan from the Pay as you go plan due to the fact that I wanted to use the Internet. So, if you don't care about using the Internet or using data you can go with "Pay as you Go" option.5. Functions: The phone doesn't come with the Google Play Store... it comes with APTOIDE. So far I have been able to find most of the stuff I have on my Galaxy SIII. The phone has a calculator, Alarm, sound recorder, Video recorder and camer, Internet and a few other things.6. I did notice that you can do APP to SD to save memory on the phones memeory. Yes, the phone does come with an 8Gig memory card.7. LCD screen: The LDC screen is not the highest quality and it's not the lowest quality. That being said, I have noticed some yellowish tint in the white areas of the background pictures and when taking some video's. The picture will fade depending on what angle you look at it and it looks "washed out". The Colors are not "POPPING" like I was hoping they would but what can you expect from a $234 Phone watch. There isn't a pen to use on the screen and typing on the "Micro QWERY keyboard" is a little fustrating at times.Conclusion: I would recommend this to anyone who like the coolness factor and would like something that they could use as to take video or picture without wipping out their bulky camera or phone, if they don't want to take their phone with them or if it dies they have a backup.Update 3/4/13I found my jabra bluetooth headset and it seems to work just fine with call quality. So, I guess I am totaly satisfied with this watch. So, as things come up I will post updates.

Android 2.2 Smartphone Watch

I have only had this Smartphone watch for 2 days. Overall, it would be a fun toy and would probably consider buying the next generation model, but I had to return this one because it came out of the box with a dead pixel on the LCD screen. Slightly frustrating nonetheless. I didn’t have much time to necessarily give this a fair review, so I’m giving you my initial impressions after my 2 days of having the phone.The backlighting is overpowered and leaves more to be desired. The LCD screen always looks white-washed/faded out and brightness levels do not do much for the LCD screen. WiFi range is good considering a device as small as this, however it is slow and turned off at random intervals. I had set the option for WiFi to connect automatically when in range, but it failed to do this on numerous occasions. Camera is well positioned for taking pictures, but improbable to use for video conferencing. Unfortunately, does not have a true dual core processor as advertised and would assume it has much less than 2 GB of RAM. I would recommend using a solid picture/color as the background as trying to use one of the Live Wallpapers pre-installed on the watch lags and chops up the animation. Does not have the Google Play store, but instead uses Aptoide. Standby battery life is great, but when you are browsing the internet or downloading, the battery life significantly reduces.

Awsome phone... Android is great!

After a deep research on the internet about new phones, i decided to change mi Great Nokia 5800 for an android based phone. Galaxy Ace was the best Cost-Benefit choice. Big challenge for me to change my Symbian system, because use to be really stable and well done. Comparing the experience with symbian and nokia phones as a reference, the change to Android is awesome. You can feel the difference due to the best hardware set up... 800Mhz processor and 277MB RAM memory. Both, SO and processor make a huge difference.Looks great, big screen (quick response, sensitive), Light, fast... really fast, with the android market ant thousands of apps, many of them free.Only one big issue: battery life. I have been trying to configure it to get the best battery performance, but until now... no more than One day using randomly the wifi to be synchronized and using the web. For me, is not a big deal because i use to work close to my office, so i have the opportunity to recharge it during the day easily, but for those people working without an energy outlet close, and forced to use data connection all the time, this phone will be a problem. . That is why i am not giving the 5 stars; but could be a nightmare for another kind of phone users. That problem is suppouse to be improved with the new Gingerbread firmware, which i am waiting for (samsung announce it few days ago).If you get this phone, charge the battery for the first time at leas 12 hours. Does not matter if the phone announce the full charge, that issue makes a huge difference with the battery life. For some reason, even with the full charge activated on the screen, the battery will continue receiving charge and increasing the usage of the battery.I am impressed about how easy is the synchronization with google software: calendar, gmail, docs, etc and also with facebook and tweeter accounts to get information of your contacts.Very nice and powerful phone.

Great Andriod phone for the Price

I purchased the ACE for myself 8 months ago and it is so easy to use. It does drink the battery if you are doing alot of internet and application access during the day. All in all this is a great phone with good features and able to run all the Android applications. I love the WiFi because it saves on my data plan. My wife like my phone so much, I purchased a second one this week.

Good phone with quality build

I have had this phone for a week or so. Almost everything works fine out of the box.Android market is full of some good apps. Plus if you are adventurous you can build your apps with Android SDK. They have plenty of documentation and examples.Only issues so far. The battery seems to last (less as per my expectations) only for 1.5 days with little (1.5hour) wifi and 2 hour talk time (I use loudspeaker so this might be more if you don't) and 2.5 hours of games. Could not get gingerbread installed via Kies (might use 3rd party ROM flashers, Odin??, which seem to be available in plenty)Note this phone ships from outside US. As advertised you have no warranty and US Samsung customer support won't help as it is a non-us device. So wrt tech help you might be on your own. Or buy the warranty version.Could not get GPS to work as of now. Need to understand all the settings.Pluses.. awesome screen with no lag. Android community for support and development.Love it and would recommend if you are looking for a cheap unlocked phone.Update: Got gingerbread update from Samsung using Kies, so no unlocking or rooting required (will have to see what happens for later Android upgrades). Now the battery has improved significantly. So no qualms for the money spent. 3G speeds from Att&t in my area are decent, tried gtalk and youtube and multiple app download with no noticeable lag.And writing apps for android is fun!! Wish I had more money to upgrade to more powerful newer phones :(. But no regrets from this one so far!Update: Almost 1 year now after purchase. Upgraded the firmware to 2.3.6 (I know no ICS or Jelly bean). But it does make the phone feel more responsive and snappy.Loving it so far.
