Samsung Galuxy Nexus 4G, Good phone

The phone i got was basically new.Pros:Its great at all app tasks, has no bloatware, and you can put Roms on it or root it easily if you want.4G is fast! where available. 3g is consistent and also good. WIFI speeds are Very fast. Easy connect to Open or WPA AES Access Points.Screen quality is about as good as it gets barring some HUGE screen that may arrive later or something with a denser pixel count.This is likely the most versatile phone on the market right now.CONS:Sometimes battery life is lower than expected.4G to 3G connection transition sometimes leaves you with no internet. (to fix, hit airplane mode on, then off. All set in a few moments)WIFI secured with the old WPA PSK may have an issue connecting if there are multiple Access Points (like in an office or school).Conclusion:Overall Very nice will get 5 Stars once the few issues I see are resolved.The upcoming update to Android 4.0.4 for Verizon should fix the few issues i have.(VZW holding it back for some reason?)

Despite being a year old, this phone still races through anything I can throw at it. I flashed CM10 and it's running amazingly. A good choice if you don't have a 2 year upgrade. The only phone I would choose over this one would be the Galaxy S III.

I love this phone, but that's because I've decided to side with Google, rather than Apple, in the mobile phone war. As an Android/Google power user I need a "pure" Google experience phone which seamlessly integrates the host of Google apps I use on a daily basis - Drive, Gmail, Books, Music, etc. Since I am also a Verizon loyalist, this phone made the most sense after my OG Droid (love that phone too) was finally laid to rest.If you are vested in the Google ecosystem, I recommend this phone. But beware! It has a number of issues which may be deal killers for some: bad camera, frustratingly quiet in-phone speaker and horrific battery life. If you are going to purchase this phone take heed - you will need an extended battery, a car charger or Juice Defender to manage power usage.Of course, the biggest impediment for many Galaxy Nexus owners is Verizon - they will slow the update process. At the writing of this, Android 4.2.1 has rolled out to other "pure" Google experience devices such as the Nexus 4 and Nexus 7. Verizon will slow the update of your Galaxy Nexus by rigorously testing causing two to three month delays. Caveat Emptor if you need updates right away.In short, this is an excellent phone for purists of Google. For everyday users, I highly recommend the HTC One X or the Samasung Galaxy III.
