The smartphone was new and came quickly. I'm really happy with it, and it was SIM-unlocked.There is a downside for those that like to hack their phones, though. It is SIM-unlocked, but the bootloader is locked and it is currently running Gingerbread. That means that rooting the phone and installing a different version of Android software is not easy. If you were assuming you could simply go to the sony website and unlock the bootloader like most Sony phones, you will be disappointed. There are workarounds, (x-parts and Breakdroid) but it will take a little more work. If you don't know what any of this means, you never would have used this feature.Nonetheless, great seller and great phone.
