Not New ....should have read more feedback on them than just this item

First and foremost, I don't think I've every left a bad review for anyone...and this isn't so much the company as it is the product and their lack of providing proper information. That being said - I was so excited to get my phone, but right away I had issues when I realized the instructions were wrong...the table of contents and pages didn't match or pages didn't even exist. I had trouble getting the phone to sync up and had to call my carrier to help. Once it did sync, the phone displayed over 50 old emails from an email account based in the UK (I'm in the US)...that is when it hit me that it wasn't NEW, but refurbished. And forget about contacts coming over easily...I was having to manually re-enter all of them! (I'm a self-published writer and I use my phone A LOT to help market and promote, that means a lot of contacts to transfer over!).I looked past that misinformation only to realize my mistake the following evening (barely 48 hours after I got the phone) when I went to plug it into the charger, I noticed it wasn't charging so I detached the charger and plugged it into a different charger, thinking that may be the issue...but that charger felt too loose...when I looked I realized it was loose because the port that is supposed to be ATTACHED to the phone was stuck on the end of the first charger...the port had completely come out! And even when I got it back in, since it wasn't connected to the internal components, it wouldn't charge...so then I had put in all this effort on a phone that I couldn't charge!I will say that Wireovia did get back to me (at hour 23 of their 24 hour time frame) after I told them I was returning it for a full refund. They were willing to replace the phone, but I was going to have to spend the money to ship it to Alaska (over $40 for overnight since I need a dang phone). I read more feedback than just this phone and realized they have a habit of sending refurbished when it says new....I'm sending this back to Amazon directly for the full refund and will be getting a different phone from a provider I can trust to send what they say!!Now I have to use my broken old phone in the meantime...please don't waste your time and get stuck with the same inconvenience as I did!

OMG! Best phone ever!

First let me talk about BlackBerry. I really like BlackBerry. Reliable. I think they develop their products and test them before they make them available. Meaning, they don't put crappy products out before their time like other manufactures. Not only that, it is my opinion that Droids and iPhones are designed to just work out of box for people who want their phones to be smarter than them. No thinking involved. BlackBerry does that too but if you're a control freak like me and want things to work they way you want them to work, there are options galore. My first BlackBerry I got from CraigsList just so I can learn how to support them for my job. It was a Pearl 8120. Then I got a Pearl 9100. Love the SureType technology. I wish they didn't discontinue developing that line. Oh well. This phone was the next best thing I could get...I love love love this phone. I have only had it for a couple of weeks. But I am already impressed. I could have gotten a cheaper black 9360 but I really like this purple. Reminds me of grape juice popsicle. It came with Spanish on it. I was like Oh no! Good thing I know enough Spanish to figure out how to change it to English. lol. Anyhow. I found OS 7.1 from Telus. And I upgraded to that. Now I have FM radio, HotSpot, NFC. I just wish the OS 7 browser had column view like the way OS 5 had it. So I installed Opera Mini. It's a great work around. Anyways. I wasn't sure about paying full price for a 3G phone but then my coworker said that 4G phones use up the battery faster. So I am good with 3G. I do my download over wifi anyways. Speaking of battery life, I'd say it lasts less than a day. I am waiting for Seidio to make a slim extended battery for it. I have chargers everywhere so it doesn't matter for right now.Great phone! OS 7 is awesome.

I absolutely love the phone the product is exactly as was described. It is a very light and slim handset which suits me just fine and the picture quality is absolutely perfect. My only drawback was that the handbooks are all written in Spanish and I live on an English speaking island. But besides that I am pleased with the service I received.
